Antique Silver

Item: Table Spoon Description: Napier pattern Hallmark: London 1888 by J Aldwinckle & T Slater Dimensions: 225mm long, 98g weight

Comments: A fantastic Victorian example of a very rare pattern. The design of Napier pattern was first registered by Chawner & Co in 1862 and the maker's of this spoon bought out Chawners and their dies in 1882. The spoon has been barely used and has extremely crisp decoration and a thick bowl tip.
