1770 by Elizabeth Tookey Dimensions: 118mm long; 113 grams Comments: An outstanding set of 6 Georgian silver-gilt teaspoons. The condition is first class with thick tips to the bowls, crisp decoration to both front terminals and reverse bowls and clear hallmarks. The quality is equally good with a good solid feel in the hand. To the front terminal is a depiction of Apollo (Greek God of the Sun) with a halo of solar rays and is holding a composite bow in one hand. To the reverse of the bowls is a shell with scrolls. A fabulous set with an average price of less than £100 per spoon.
