fine pair of early George III period tea tongs with good cast shell bowls.
These nips display "C" scrolls typical of the late Rococo
period. The hinge is of the higher quality variety (three overlapping
sections) and they bear engraved initials to the front. Both finger grips
are appropriately part marked and the condition is excellent throughout.
