Item: Sugar Tongs Description: Cast Openwork Arms Hallmark: London
circa 1770 by Joseph Steward (probably) Dimensions: 138mm long, 41g weight Comments: A very fine quality pair of cast sugar tongs. The bow has an Adams style floral motif with contemporary to manufacture "AD" initials to the cartouche. The condition is excellent throughout with neither damage nor repairs and the hallmarks are crisp.
