Art Deco Spoon by R.E. Stone

Details

RE Stone made a series of Art Deco inspired commemorative pieces to celebrate Royal events of the 1930's and this silver spoon is a very stylish example from that range. It was made to commemorate the coronation of King George VI in 1937 and has a cut-out in relief "G" enclosing "VI" to the terminal and engraved "1937". The spoon is in excellent condition with very clear hallmarks including the sought after R.E.S maker's mark.
