Exeter Caddy Spoon, 1856

Details

This is a particularly heavy and beautifully decorated silver tea caddy spoon with the bonus of bearing hallmarks from the Exeter assay office. Made by Josiah Williams & Company of Bristol, this spoon has crisp, double-struck raised decoration to the handle and an attractively fluted bowl.

The front terminal is engraved with contemporary initials and the spoon is in excellent condition throughout.
