Serving Spoon, Cork 1800 Gibson

Details

This is a wonderful Irish provincial silver serving spoon with clear marks. The spoon has an excellent engraved crest of a griffin holding an arrow to the front terminal, surmounting a monogram. This spoon is longer than typical table spoons and has a lovely elegant feel to it. The marks "STERLING" and "GIBSON" are clearly struck and the condition throughout is excellent.
