Details

These are an exquisite pair of Victorian cast silver gilt salt spoons with a nautical or maritime theme. The spoons are cast with seaweed tendril handles and shell shaped bowls and the whole is gilt.

Made by the premier silversmiths Hunt & Roskell, the maker's marks are surmounted by a crown (to denote their by appointment status to the Royal family) and the reverse of the bowls are engraved with contemporary armorial crests. The condition is excellent throughout.
