Paul Storr Dinner Plate, 1823

Details

This is an outstanding quality silver dinner plate by the most important royal silversmith of the 19th century, Paul Storr. The dinner plate is superbly decorated around the border with a striking gadroon border interspersed with shells enveloped by leaves - the quality is simply stunning! The plate bears an original engraved coat-of-arms bearing a ducal cornet for a baron to the border. The plate has a good hefty weight and is in fine condition with some light knife scratching to the centre and a clear set of hallmarks.

This dinner plate is one of four matching that we have available. We are happy to sell them in any required number.
