Sorry, this item is out of stock.

The Decorated Hanoverian Pattern is an extremely rare flatware design originally produced by Paul de Lamerie in the 1730's. This set of a dozen silver-gilt dessert spoons were made by the greatest British silversmith of the 19th century - Paul Storr.

All twelve spoons are in fine condition with clear hallmarks and are presented in a lovely, original gilt colour (n.b. minor wear to the heel on the back of the bowl where the spoon touches a table). The rich heritage of these spoon is illustrated by the engraved double crest to the reverse terminals.

An outstanding set of spoons!

Decorated Hanoverian is discussed in Ian Pickford's "Silver Flatware" and illustrated as figure 94.
