Soup Ladle - Admiralty pattern - London 1853 by George Adams - 34.5cm long; 284g - AB/4311

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This a rare example of a large soup ladle in Admiralty Pattern. This Victorian silver soup ladle has a good heavy weight and is in excellent condition - the fouled anchor motif is die-stamped to the front terminal and remains in crisp condition.

Admiralty Pattern was first produced circa 1838 for use by the Royal Navy (as denoted by the arrow stamp adjacent to the hallmark).
