These are a good hefty pair of silver sugar tongs in the sought after Admiralty pattern. Made by George Adams of Chawner & Company, these tongs are struck to both sides with a crisp example of the Royal Navy's fouled anchor emblem. the tongs are in excellent original condition with no engravings.

Admiralty Pattern was first produced circa 1838 for use by the Royal Navy (as denoted by the arrow stamp adjacent to the hallmark).
