This a beautiful, Art Nouveau silver caddy spoon made by the important Birmingham-based maker AE Jones.
The spoon has a heart-shaped bowl with the extending handle folding over and having a wish-bone style support. In typical arts & crafts tradition the spoon has an all-over spot hammered effect. AE Jones tended to favour having hallmarks stamped to the underside of the bowl and often they become worn, however this spoon has a clear set of marks and the overall condition is excellent.
