Fiddle pattern silver caddy spoons are fairly plentiful, but not only is this an early example but also it is unusual in having a bifurcated handle where it joins the fluted bowl.

This George III period caddy spoon is in fine condition and was made by the top specialist spoonmaker Richard Crossley. It bears original script engraved initials and a well-struck set of London hallmarks.
