This is a good-looking silver wine label for Burgundy made by Matthew Linwood in the late George III period.
The label is die-struck with Bacchic revellers amongst vine leaves and grapes with a mask of Bacchus the Greek god of wine to the centre under the title. The bottle ticket is in fine condition with clear hallmarks.
