What a beautifully presented set of George II silver teaspoons and matching tongs!

Housed in their original shagreen covered case, this set of six cast silver teaspoons are superbly modelled in the rococo naturalistic taste with foliage decoration and leaf-shaped bowls. They come complete with their original pair of scissor-action sugar nips. The pieces are unmarked, as many sets were at this period, but are typical of the qualtiy one would expect from the specialist maker Francis Harache.

The condition is superb with each piece have crisp decoration. The case is original but has been relined to the interior to show-off these pieces to their best. A wonderful set!
