'Lion' Pin Cushion, 1908

Often referred to as the "Mythical Lion", this is one of the ultimate pieces for a collection of antique silver pin cushions. This is a good-sized and very rare example of a novelty pin cushion in the form of a majestic lion. The lion is well modelled with crisp detail to the mane and retaining its tail. The pad appears to be a replacement and the silver is in fine condition with clear hallmarks.
