The Service
We are pleased to be offering a comprehensive Elizabeth II period silver 8 place settings canteen in Louis XVI Pattern. This service offers many permutations for the prospective buyers with a huge range of options available. However the main service that we are offering within the box and as shown in the main photo, provides for eight pieces per 8 place settings with a standard range of serving items – a total of 73 pieces.
This service was made by Roberts & Belk during the 1960's/70's and each piece is appropriately hallmarked.

Louis XVI Pattern
Louis XVI Pattern was made by Roberts & Belk during the 20th Century. It has straight sides with a reed & ribbon border and a shell motif to the end of each handle.

Condition
Excellent polished condition. No wear to spoon bowls and all fork tines are full length. Virtually unused. No engraved initials.
Presentation
This canteen is offered in its original hinged mahogany box. The box is lined with royal purple baize.
