Teaspoon - Fiddle Pattern - Cupar circa 1820 by Robert Robertson - 14.1cm long - JV/4443

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

A very rare fiddle pattern silver teaspoon from this scarce Scottish provincial centre. The spoon is in fine condition with a good thick bowl tip. There is an engraved "CG" script monogram and the number "1" (presumably once part of a larger set) to the front terminal. It is clearly marked "RR", "thistle, thistle, "RR".

Cupar is a small market town in the Howe of Fife, to the north of Edinburgh.
