This is a fabulous Georgian silver caddy spoon dating from the middle of the first decade of caddy spoon production.
This rare spoon has an attractive Onslow pattern handle with bright-cut engraved decoration and a fluted bowl. The reverse side is stamped with a single "GS" in script maker's mark for George Smith III. This pleasing spoon is in excellent condition with crisp engraving.
