Soup Ladle - Fiddle pattern - Dumfries circa 1820 by David Gray - 34cm long; 230g - TP/8143

This is a large, 13" long Scottish silver soup ladle with an excellent set of Dumfries marks. The reverse side of this fiddle pattern ladle is stamped with fouled anchor, unicorn head, "G", fouled anchor and the "DG" maker's mark for David Gray. Although a little pitted from use, the overall condition of this hefty ladle is very good with an original script letter "R" with flourishes to the front terminal and it is being offered at a very competitive price!
