Elizabeth Morley Silver Caddy Spoon, 1796
Sold
Caddy Spoon - Crown Termional with Bright-cut Engraving - London 1796 by Elizabeth Morley - 8.4cm long; 10g - YN/5050
Elizabeth Morley made a range of fine quality silver caddy spoons and this is no exception with a form that we haven't previously encountered.
The handle has a crown-shaped terminal with attractive bright-cut engraving around a vacant shield-shaped cartouche. The Georgian hallmarks are cleanly struck to the reverse side and the whole spoon is in fine condition.
