Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This wonderful West Country, Queen Anne period spoon has a set of documentary marks for Exeter 1707. The five marks are deeply struck and each one remains clear and crisp. The spoon itself is a good example of a provincial trefid spoon with slightly later dated betrothal initials to the reverse terminal and a beaded rattail.

The clear hallmarks are indicative of the overall condition of the spoon: the bowl remains full and unworn and the spoon has a lovely patina.
