Garrard Silver Bachelor-sized Teapot, 1926

This is a fabulous bachelor silver teapot made by Garrards with a terrific weight for its diminutive size. 

This circular teapot has a capacity of 3/4 pint and the features are of the high quality that one would expect from Garrards -  cast spout and foot, applied silver finial, strong hinge and heat insulators to the silver handle. Furthermore it pours beautifully!

The underside is stamped with the Garrard and Company Ltd name and address in Albemarle Street London and the full hallmarks for Sebastian Garrard are adjacent to the handle whilst the cover and handle are appropriately part marked. Overall a lovely little teapot in fine condition.
