Georgian Hourglass Ice Tongs, 1826

A very rare set of Georgian silver ice tongs. These tongs have sharp claw grip for holding the ice cubes. The tongs are in the popular Hour Glass pattern and the decoration on these tongs is superbly crisp. The outside of the bow is engraved with a crest of a raised hand holding dagger. These ice tongs are in superb condition with clear hallmarks.
