Sugar Nips - London circa 1760 by Thomas Wallis - 124mm long; 36g - Ref. No.: LK/1301b

These are an attractive pair of mid-18th century tea tongs in the ornate rococo style typical of the 1760's. The central boss bears contemporary to manufacture engraved "TB" initials and the finger rings are stamped with the marks for Thomas Wallis. There are no signs of damage or repair and these tongs remain in fine original condition.
