Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a beautiful Georgian silver toothpick box made by one of Birmingham's best - Samuel Pemberton.

The box is superbly decorated to all sides with a lovely display of engraving that includes a script monogram to one end and a boar's head crest to the other. The cover has mirror-image engraving with only one end secretly hiding the flush hinge. Opening the cover reveals a felt lined interior for holding the toothpicks and a mirror within the lid to help the job-in-hand.

The full set of Birmingham hallmarks are located on the underside and the box is in fine condition with crisp engraving.
