Tea Urn - Vase-shape on Square Pedestal Foot - London 1791 by Henry Chawner - 36cm high; 22.5cm wide; 1275g - KH/7354

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

Taking an elegant NeoClassical vase-shape form, this fine quality silver tea urn was made by the premier silversmith Henry Chawner. The green-stained ivory tap needs a simple turn of 90 degrees to open the tap to release hot water and similarly to close again. There is a lift-off cover to allow easy replenishment and the pedestal foot prevents scorching to the furniture surface.

This samovar is in excellent original condition with no engraving and nothing negative to report. It is fully hallmarked to the underside.
