This is a fabulous, large Georgian period silver lemon or orange strainer. With its two large, looped handles this strainer will span most punch bowls and prevent pips entering the concoction. It is beautifully and cleverly pierced and was made by the important silversmith, Henry Chawner.
This antique strainer remains in excellent condition with clear hallmarks to the reverse of the pierced bowl.
