Marrow Scoop - Double Ended - London 1784 by Hester Bateman - 22.8cm long; 47g - NL/6636
This is a great example of a Georgian marrow scoop made by the "Queen of English Silversmiths", Hester Bateman. The double ended scoop is in the usual form and is in fine condition throughout. The hallmarks are pinched (caused by the re-working of the marks following punching by the assay office), but remain legible with a clear example of the sought after "HB" maker's mark.
