Hester Bateman Shell-back Table Spoon

This is an outstanding example of a shell back table spoon made by Hester Bateman. It has a crisp shell motif to the reverse of the bowl and a fabulous set of crisp, bottom-struck hallmarks, including the all-important "HB" maker's mark. The condition is excellent throughout and there is a beautifully engraved "BEP" script monogram to the reverse terminal. A stunning spoon!
