This is a superb example of Hester Bateman's workmanship. With its long elegant handle delicately decorated with bright cut engraving and the deep round bowl, this beautiful soup ladle would make a stylish addition to any dining table. The front terminal features an original engraved crest of a lion rampant and the reverse side is hallmarked with the sought after cursive "HB" maker's mark of this famous woman silversmith.
