Omar Ramsden silver is amongst the most highly prized of all 20th Century British silver. Invariably hand-made in the traditions of the Arts and Crafts movement, his silver designs were always careful to combine a healthy mix of practicality, high quality and inspirational aesthetics.
In combination with Alwyn Carr, his earliest designs during the Edwardian period were generally governed by the Art Nouveau movement, and his solo post-World War 1 output often featured Art Deco influences. Throughout his career he adhered to close attention to detail in design and best quality hand-made production that ensures his silver will always stand-out from the crowd.
