Table Spoon - Bright-cut engraved Bow - Dublin 1782 by John Pittar - 23.8cm long; 65g - PZ/2242
Made by the Dublin silversmith John Pittar, this elegant silver table spoon is attractively engraved with bright-cut engraving with the unusual feature of a bow to the terminal (as opposed to the more common star). The cartouche bears an original engraved stag crest and the bowl has a good thick tip. This is a lovely antique spoon in fine condition and clear set of Irish hallmarks.
