Leaf Caddy Spoon by Brown & Clark

The "B&C" stamp of Brown & Clark is a scarcely found Birmingham maker's mark generally found in the late 1850's. If this attractive silver caddy spoon is anything to go by, it is a shame that there aren't more of their wares still on the market as this is a lovely looking spoon with a bowl in the form of a well-modelled leaf attached to a looped, twisted wire handle. The hallmarks are located on the top of the bowl and the spoon is in excellent condition.
