This is a very beautiful Victorian silver posy vase with an openwork cone decorated with embossed scrolls and flowers. The vase is complete with crescent shaped handle, finger ring on chain and a retaining clip.
This delicate posy vase is a rare example from the workshop of the most important Birmingham silversmith - Nathaniel Mills. It is in excellent condition with hallmarks spread around the central section.
