Omar Ramsden Silver Box, London 1927

Box - Shaped Rectangle with Chased Decoration - London 1927 by Omar Ramsden - 6.8cm x 4.5cm x 1.5cm high - TG/2852
Perfect for the pocket, this lovely Omar Ramsden silver box is ideal for carrying pills, snuff or other small necessities.
The box has an elegant shape with an all over planished finish and typically for Omar Ramsden, the greatest British silversmith of the 20th century, the band of decoration to the hinged cover is not engraved, but rather more extravagantly chased (i.e. hand-impressed in to the silver). This box has a lovely satisfying feel in the hand and is in excellent condition with clear hallmarks and "Omar Ramsden Me Fecit" legend.
