This is a beautiful pair of George III silver table spoons with exquisite bright-cut engraving. In addition, the terminals are engraved with an attractive crest featuring a bird with olive branch.

Richard Crossley was one of the finest silver spoonmakers of the period and these spoons are typical of his high quality. They have fabulously crisp, deeply-struck hallmarks for 1783 and remain in superb condition with a fine antique patina.
