Salad Servers (pair) - Coburg pattern - London 1853 by William R. Smily - 28cm long; 360g - Ref. No.: YB/2341

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

These are an outstanding pair of large and heavy salad servers in one of the most important flatware patterns. Coburg pattern was designed by Paul Storr during the Regency period for the Royal Goldsmiths Rundell, Bridge & Rundell. It is probably the most opulent of all patterns and just oozes high quality and was intended for the very wealthiest of RB&R's clientele.

In addition to their hefty weight, these serving spoons have the further benefit of being in fabulous condition with very crisp decoration. They have not been personalised with engravings (no erasures). Salad servers in Coburg pattern are extremely rare and you would have to go a long way to find a better pair than these.
