Table Spoons (pair) - Hanoverian Shell-back - London 1740 by Jeremiah King - 20.2cm long; 111g - FZ/8963a

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

These are an excellent pair of early period fancy back silver table spoons. They each bear a crisp, shell motif to the back of the bowl and a most unusual crest with what appears to be a bear paw holding a flower and above a coronet. They bear matching bottom-struck hallmarks including the full "J King" maker's mark to one (the other is worn). These are an excellent pair of spoons that remain in fine condition with a good antique patina.
