Table Spoons (pair) - Hourglass pattern - Dublin 1815 by Richard Whitford - 23.4cm long; 203g combined weight - TY/4238
These are fine quality, heavy pair of Irish silver table spoons that bear an engraved crest surmounted by an Earl's coronet to the front terminal.
The spoons are early examples of the King's Hourglass pattern and were made by the rarely encountered Dublin maker Richard Whitford. The hallmarks also include the retailer's stamp for "M WEST". With a combined weight of over 200 grams these are good sturdy spoons, plus they are in fine condition with thick bowl tips.
