Table Spoons (pair) - Hanoverian Rattail pattern - Dublin 1719 by David King - 20.4cm long; 142g - FL/8762b

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

These are a scarce pair of early 18th century Irish made silver table spoons. They are in the Hanoverian Rattail pattern with a finely engraved crest of a hand held aloft and holding a sword. The spoons are marked three times (they pre-date the introduction of the Hibernia mark in 1731), both have clear crowned harp marks, one shows the crossed "c" date letter for 1719 and one has a clear "DK" maker's mark for the important Dublin silversmith David King. These spoons are in very good condition with sharp leading edges to the bowls.
