These are a fabulous pair of long-handled Victorian silver salt or condiment spoons. 

Their long elegant form was so that they could reach in to condiment bottles and so could have been used as small ladles for sauces as well as for salt. They have a really substantial feel and are in fine condition with crisp examples of the fouled anchor motif which is die-stamped to the front terminal.

Admiralty Pattern was first produced circa 1838 for use by the Royal Navy (as denoted by the broad arrow stamp adjacent to the hallmark).
