Tamworth pattern is a rare flatware pattern and this pair of antique silver sauce ladles are excellent examples made by the Chawner & Company workshop (under the management of George Adams). They have good satisfying weight, lovely crisp decoration and include an original engraved monogram to the front. Ian Pickford in "Silver Flatware" describes finding Tamworth pattern as "very difficult". These sauce ladles are in excellent condition throughout.
