Paul Storr Military Shell Silver Basting Spoon, 1817

This a fabulous Regency period silver basting spoon made by Paul Storr.

This 12" long serving spoon is in the scarce Military Shell Pattern and has an engraved crest of a mythical creature to the front terminal.

As one would expect from a piece from the Storr workshop, this large spoon oozes high quality with a good weight and lovely, crisp decoration. The spoon is in excellent condition throughout with a good, thick bowl tip.
