Sorry, this item is out of stock.

Paul Storr dinner plates are always a cut above the rest in terms of quality and this is example is no exception to that rule. With its richly decorated gadroon and shell mount, this plate just oozes premier quality. The presence of a double crest and a coat-of-arms with motto to the border provides further testament to the top drawer quality of this Regency period piece.

The engraved armorial features a motto which reads "Virtuti Non Armis Fido" (I trust to virtue not to arms) and are the arms of the earl of Wilton.

This 10" diameter Georgian silver dinner plate is in excellent condition with knife marks to the centre that one would expect. The Paul Storr hallmarks to the reverse side remain crisp and clear.
