This pretty Georgian silver caddy spoon is typical of those produced by George Burrows. He was fond of using elliptically shaped bowls, that were sometimes pierced, as in this example and attractive bright-cut engraved handles. The spoon is clearly struck with late 18th century hallmarks and is in fine condition.
