Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a stunning George IV period silver wine label with an abundance of decoration.

The label is titled for PORT and has a pair of cherubs either side holding a fan-shaped scallop shell with a frieze of vine and grapes. Below the name is a shell whirl flanked either side by foliate scrolls. Made by the top Georgian silversmith Edward Farrell, this antique bottle ticket is a great example in excellent condition.
