This is a fabulous silver marrow scoop dating from the end of Queen Anne's reign and bearing Britannia standard hallmarks. The scoop is typically double-ended in appearance with one wide and one narrow scoop for teasing out tasty morsels from marrowfat bones.
This marrow scoop was made by the specialist spoonmaker Henry Clarke and has a clear set of hallmarks. It further benefits from being in excellent condition.
