This is a fabulous quality silver vessel that would be ideal for serving wine, water or beer at the dining table. It has a terrific weight and was made by the highly sought after Arts & Crafts partnership of Omar Ramsden and Alwyn Carr. The workmanship is simply stunning; the fleur-de-lis to the hinged cover has been chased and the interior gilt both of which add to the feeling of superior quality.

This Edwardian period flagon is engraved "Omar Ramsden et Alwyn Carr me Fecurunt" (Omar Ramsden & Alwyn Carr made me), plus the stamp of the original, prestigious retailers - Payne & Son of Oxford.
